TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To confirm reservations current valid credit card details are required within fourteen days of arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

More than two weeks prior to your reservation date at Villa Apartments  – no charge.
Seven to Fourteen Days notice.  A cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation will apply.
Two to Six Days notice.  A  cancellation fee of 50% of total accommodation costs will be applied.
No-Shows,  and  bookings cancelled within 48 hours of arrival date .  A cancellation fee of 100% of accommodation costs will apply.

Upon arrival all guests will be required to sign a standard Villa Apartment tenancy form and accept the terms and conditions therein of his/her stay.
Villa Apartments reserves the right to cancel any booking before or during your stay.  If damages occur and/or the terms and conditions are breached, then the guest may be asked to leave.  In this case no refund will be provided and damage charges will be levied.

Villa Apartments accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If paying by Credit Card a surcharge of 4% will be charged on all credit cards.
Payment can be made by either Cash, Electronic funds transfer, credit card or direct bank deposit.  Payments made by cash, electronic funds transfer or direct bank deposits will also require a credit card on file for security.

Extensions and Booking Amendments

Amendments for reduced stays once you have commenced your occupancy, no refund will be made if a substitute booking cannot be found.
Extensions – if you would like to extend your stay,  notice must be given to take up the extension however no guarantee of occupancy is given as we reserve the right to re-book the apartment.  No guarantee for continuance of accommodation in the same apartment can be given.

Loss or Theft of guest property

While every endeavour is made to ensure the safety of your property during your stay with us, Villa Apartments takes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to guest property.  Security measures are in place to ensure safety of guests and their property and we encourage guests not to leave valuable items in their apartments unattended.

Use of Apartments

Apartments cannot be used for parties or loud gatherings where occupants of neighbouring apartments might be disturbed.  If, on arrival, it is felt you are intending to use the apartments for such an event you may be refused entrance.  If it is discovered that you are holding such an event after arrival you may be asked to leave immediately.  In such circumstances, we are not obliged to provide or locate alternative accommodation.  The proportion of refund is at our discretion.

Number of Occupants and Apartment Security

You are responsible for ensuring that the apartment is not occupied by more people than is stated on your Registration form, email or phone booking.  We reserve the right refuse admittance to the apartment if we feel this condition is breached.  No refunds will be given.  The apartment cannot be re-let/sublet to any other group/party without written approval from us.

Check-in and Check-out

Rules for check-in and check-out are set by us.  All apartments are usually available for occupation by 2.00pm on the day of arrival.  Apartments must be vacated by 11am on day of departure and keys must be left in the apartment.  Arrangements can be made for a later checkout but this is subject to prior arrangement.

Damage to Apartment

You are responsible for taking all reasonable care of the property and its contents.  The property and all equipment, utensils, furniture etc. Must be left clean and tidy at the end of your stay.

Except in the case of normal wear and tear the occupier will be responsible for making good any damage to the apartment contents, including bedding,  which has occurred due to negligence, wilful damage or irresponsible behaviour on the part of those occupying the apartment or their guests.  Such damage must be reported without delay.  The cost of repair or replacement must be agreed with and paid to us.

Internet

Wireless internet is provided free of charge for normal use, as described in our Fair Use Policy.  If a loss of connection occurs we will endeavour to get it reconnected as quickly as possible but we cannot be held liable for any losses resulting from the loss of connection.

Fair Usage Policy

Fair internet usage is described as an average of 1.5MB download per day or approximately 1GB per week.  This is sufficient for all normal activities eg web browsing and emailing.  If more download capacity is required then it is possible to purchase more GBs.  Please advise us if you require greater capacity at any time during your stay.
